Herman Miller

Recognizing the need for offices to adapt to contemporary work demands, Herman Miller sought SuperFriendly's expertise. Even pre-pandemic, the writing was on the wall: traditional office layouts weren't cutting it anymore. What was needed were spaces that supported different types of work—focused tasks, team collaborations, and remote or hybrid arrangements.

To address this, SuperFriendly formed a specialized team, which included myself as the Director, Jessi Hall as the Producer, Sarah Azpeitia in Design, and Sara Soueidan in Development. We took a trip to Herman Miller's Atlanta showroom to collaborate closely for several days. There, we honed in on our strategy and brainstormed innovative ways to help companies make the most of their office environments.

Post-workshop, we went back home and rolled up our sleeves, creating a website that enables users to answer a set of questions for personalized advice on optimizing their office spaces.

Our partnership with Herman Miller was highly successful, and we were pleased to play a role in helping companies adapt to the changing work environment. However, the onset of the pandemic introduced new challenges, completely altering the landscape.
